More about our letterpress plates
How quickly will my plates arrive?

Artwork received before 1pm is etched and dispatched the same day. We send by courier or Royal Mail, priced by weight, and we ship worldwide.

Which plate is right for my press?

Mounted magnesium suits traditional presses and longer runs. Photopolymer is the economical choice for short runs, embossing and debossing, and works on most letterpress machines. Tell us your press and we will recommend the right one.

What artwork do you need?

Digital files only: EPS, PDF, AI or TIFF. Our artwork information page explains how to prepare your design for the best result.

How much do letterpress plates cost?

Plates are priced by the square centimetre, so the cost depends on the size of your design. Send us the artwork and we will quote within the hour.

Can I use the plates for embossing and debossing?

Yes. Both photopolymer gauges suit embossing and debossing as well as inked letterpress work, with or without mounting tape.

I need a letterpress press. Can you help?

We make the plates rather than the presses, so for a letterpress machine we suggest talking to the team at Beyond Letterpress Ltd. They know the presses, we make the plates.
